does that gobbledy goop mean? Seriously Mick. Reminds me of the priests using latin instead of english for non-communication of the purported 'great truths' of the holy church. Saw through that shite before I began growin a batch of brush.

And who is Dharma, and why should I care. She's a kooky TV character here.

Now lookit Mick, you're leadin me to believe you've got somethin here, so spill when ya get a minute or six.

Now I get the part about dealin with the arrow - what's in front of you currently, to put it another way perhaps. But I don't get the math of what you followed with, 'i.e. the four noble truths...the eightfold path...'

I'm wonderin, is their any pure evil in Buddha's view? Or an active agent? I mean, does he explain why when left to my own devices I would delight in being an SOB?

Just off the top(without knowing), I take it Buddha didn't consider himself to be God. How about a prophet? What was his view of his place in the scheme of things.

> However I do belive that Buddha's teachings have been more faithfully and accurately retained than Jesus'...his I feel are distorted big time...no fault of his (His) though  However I do belive that Buddha's teachings have been more faithfully and accurately retained than Jesus'...his I feel are distorted big time...no fault of his (His) though  However I do belive that Buddha's teachings have been more faithfully and accurately retained than Jesus'...his I feel are distorted big time...no fault of his (His) though

Why to the first? Why would Buddha's words be distorted? As in what would be in it for whoever might want to?

To the second, I would have to agree, in that, 200 versions of the bible(& counting since 1881(cause there are still more accurate(& understandable) copywrited versions on the way)) muddy the waters more than a bit. However, God being God, assuming He exists, it seems that if He could manage to create the universe and everything, why couldn't He keep His message to His mud, just the way He wants His mud to have it? Just my thinkin.

How did Buddha say the world came to be.

Sorry Mick, I've always asked too many questions. Only had one or two instructors who liked that quality in me. Got me in trouble with many more as I'd often be insistent, as that was their job afterall. They didn't care much for that reasoning, considered it a bad attitude somehow.

If you roll out of bed lookin that rough it's surprisin ya get anyone to roll around in it with ya.-)

All the best Mick,

Will.
