Not long ago, one of the members here, I won't say which one, accused me of being a Kent creation.  To those who actually read the posts here, I think it is very clear that Kent and I are not the same.  

At first it didn't bother me, but after a bit it did.  It got me thinking that such an accusation reduces the actual being of a person.   Slowly, it ticked me off that someone was sort of saying the things I deal with are bullshit and not important.    At first it was no big deal and then this incident came along.....

Thankfully, I did not personally have to work with this case, but having three girls of my own, it has really disturbed me.   And it doesn't help knowing particulars of this case that aren't released to the media. 

My point of all this is that I come here for the great passion and debate.  I come here hoping that someday the conservatives will post something that will resonate with me and make me appreciate their view more.  I come here to read great debate about music, life, movies or anything that we care about. 

Sure, DB's music got us here and news of him and his music keeps us here, but to me, passion is the fuel that keeps the engine going while  DB is the vehicle that gets us around and takes us places. 

Oh, and back to the original subject line, selfishly, I was put here on this Earth because I can deal with the most horrorendous aspects of life and hopefully walk away intact at the end while others cannot.....
