At first the length of sentence being spoke of was 60 yrs, but I've since learned that every aggravating factor will be looked at and every law violation will be explored to make sure these two never leave prison.   (One of the two has reportedly confessed).

On a just desserts aspect, one of the two went into segregation, while the other did not.  When the one out in the open was asked by fellow inmates what he was in for, he reportedly said some other offense.  Then when a bunch of inmates were watching the local news, a report of this terrible incident was broadcast and showed his picture.  You can imagine what happened next - oddly, the local paper only reported he was "punched."
