Football !

ND and BC have been playing each other every year for the past decade or so. ND and BC are also the only two Catholic Colleges playing in Division 1A Football. ND is a member of the Big East Confrence in all sports but Football. BC is playing their last year in the Big East. ND didn't want to give up (share $$$) their TVand Bowl royalties to the Big East in Football, plus it would have jeperdized a few of their long-standing rivalries (Michigan, Navy, USC). ND and BC will not be playing each other in Football for the next two years.

BTW,  I do believe the two teams played each other once, in Ireland awhile back!, the late 90's, I believe?
