I remember eating lunch once at the Omni Hotel in downtown Austin and looking over at the table next to me and low and behold it was Ron Paul. Know one recognized him, no one ate with him and no one bothered him. I knew I seen him before but it was not till I left that I remembered where.
The statements he makes are correct. To call George Bush and Company conservatives is a gross overstatement. Ever since the 1960's Peace, Love and lets get high generation America has been moving to the left. It's no wonder that Zale Miller is surprised because his party took off in directions unknown. The truth is that either party that gets in power is going have a stronghold over governement intrusion. America is divided but if it had its rathers the 50% that support Kerry would rather have someone a little more right and the 50% that support Bush would like someone who is a true conservative. What is going to happen you say? Well eventually we will tax people to the point to where the true producers in America will no longer have the incentives to produce because they are adversely taxed for it. After years of being called "the lucky rich" instead "hey I busted my ass to get here" they will finally say "fuck it" I'm going for a "settle for" lifestyle. In addition in the next few years (say 10) we finally will see socialized medicine, in fact we are nearly (but not all the way there). Already doctors are over regulated, sued for everything and we will have a severe problem in getting qualified doctors in the future. Eugene should know about this. Ask your physician about socialized medicine and watch their blood boil
Just my 2 cents
