The liberals/dems lost big, and will continue to lose, as long as they fail to understand not everyone thinks like they do. As usual this board is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. I continue to read the same rhetoric; Bush doesn't care about us, the world hates us, we all carry side arms, the majority of Americans are an unwise group of oafs who are completely brainwashed, and the smart ones are moving to Canada. Give me a break. No one is going anywhere.

Liberals have always proposed understanding one's "enemy". They feel we should listen to what our enemy is saying; understand their positions, wants, needs, demands, arguements. Once we gain that insight then we can work with them peacefully to reach a common goal and understanding. THIS philosophy is what the dems should be most proud of. Unfortunately, they throw it out the window when it comes to their political "enemies". They're the smart ones, the ones with all the answers. Only they know what is best for the rest of us. If we happen to disagree with them then we become nothing but 59 million oafs, bible thumpers, neo cons, nazis, blah blah blah. So much for the philosophy of tolerance.

Practice what you preach otherwise you'll all be long gone by the time you see another democrat in the white house.
