actually, Fox called Florida for Bush first, a decision made by a guy named John Ellis, who was in charge of the election desk that night. he's also a first cousin of George and Jeb.
This fact was detailed pretty well in the book and it was the big 3 that called it early for Gore. Ellis called it later that night
still, if the media is so leftist, the election results would appear to indicate that it's not working very well.
It just proves that Republicans are winning in spite of what the media pulls. They (media) did better this last election and of course the Republicans spanked the Dems pretty good. It aint lookin good for the Dems in 2004. If they serve up Algore it would be just like 1996 when the Republicans served up Bob Dole. John Kerry might be better but he still is too much left of center
