That said, can we agree, that youth makes poor decisions in order to get laid, and/or to be accepted?

My granddad through his organizations raised in excess of 100k for Just Say No. When he asked me what young people thought of the campaign I remember how disappointed he was when I told him it was cause for laughing and passing another marijuana cigarette(joint/spliff was beyond him and getting stoned meant liquor(the quicker stuff) to his generation).

I got the point Brad, I just don't think it is funny. Not at our youths expense. Especially when the other side of the coin is that the schools are telling kids this stuff has no consequences. Which, studies have reported, it definitely does regarding young womens'(boys to a lesser extent) long term self worth. Which in turn, it stands to reason, adversely effects their adult life. Some stuff shouldn't be glorified while being satirized.

During the Clinton/Lewinsky episode, my step daughter came home from 4th grade asking what a BJ was. The school had taken it upon themself to discuss this in length with our children without consulting the parents. How would you like to field that question?

If I was too harsh, get a thicker skin, some common sense and imagine having daughters in these asinine times.

PS I don't believe the schools should be teaching sex education at all, WHEN, they teach it is fun without responsibility or consequence. And, I'm a man, of course I understand a guy who couldn't manage to get sex in HS wishing he'd had this kind of assistance. But what do you think? would abstinence teaching have helped that sort of lad? Doubtful.
