satistifed with the performance of the right wing of your party?

Whether you agree or not, it appears the right wing of the Republican party has taken control of the rest of the party - a few examples -

Delay and others have made judges open targets now;

Frist offers diagnosisis from video tape;

A small group of the party wanted to intervene in the Schiavo case, when the majority of Americans were against it; this small group even drafted a possibly unconstititual law in this case - if that isn't extreme, than what is;

People in your party want to protect employees who refuse to fill a doctor ordered prescription (kind of flies in the face of getting goverment out of one's life, eh? Oh, but wait, this is the same group who are more concerned with what goes on in a person's bedroom than that of releasing energy meeting information - let's see - what really is have the larges impact on American families? Is it what sex acts the neighbor is performing or the influence that energy companies have had over the Bush Adminstration?).

Right now the Republican Party right and Christian Right are being pulled by people that are nothing but extreme - look at your leaders out there right now - DeLay, Santorum, Frist, Robertson, Falwell - it goes on and on. And their examples abound - Martinez and the politicizing memo to use the Schiavio case to promote the Republican Party (which now it comes out more than just the one "aide" had a part in)...

Frankly, I can understand how geniune conservatives are upset with their current party - I have never seen a party toss out more of their stated ideals than the current leadership of the Republican Party.
