He was in Asia in the ink and die business the whole time that Farben was doing their heinous doings in Europe, and in fact was fired by them for the crime of being Jewish, and further, early in the war became an unpaid asset of the American intelligence boys. Pasha, as we in the family know of him, was the furthest thing imaginable from a Nazi war profiteer or criminal. (Quite unlike Prescott Bush, who dealt with the Nazis well into WWII.)
