If you were Bill Anthony (burp) what would you have done?

Well, to be fair to Bill Anthony I don't know what he had to do with any of the decision making process in this grisly little affair. He is only identified as a "spokesman" in the article. I posted the story because I thought it was so bizarre. I mean, come on, they get a guy at the border with a bloody chainsaw and they let him go. Tell me you don't think Saturday Night Live could have a field day with that material!

 There is nothing in place for them to detain someone they have probable cause to believe is dangerous? Doesn't your ounce of prevention philosophy come into play here? I think there was enough in front of these people to suggest this guy should be held. If they have not even put in place a system where they can do that at our border what the hell have they done? They just have a list of names, like Hous Bin Farteen, and if your names not on it they let you in?

I mean what are they doing? Hey detain that brown skinned guy but the guy with the bloody chainsaw can go? Plus, they hijacked planes with box cutters and pepper spray. This guy had a sword, a knife, a chainsaw, zip cuffs and the pepper spray. If I remember correctly some of the hijackers followed almost the same route coming through Canada, into Maine and then on to Boston. Bill Anthony is saying openly and plainly they have no system in place to detain someone like that unless they have a criminal record...meaning nothing...zero...nada...has been done at our borders.

What do you think I should think about this?
