The following albums have provided the soundtrack to much of my life:

1. The Clash  "The Clash" 25 years later, it remains my all-time favorite.

2. The Clash "London Calling" This album got me through the Reagan years.

3. Bruce Springsteen "Born to Run" This album got me through high school.

4. Derek and The Dominoes "Layla" Clapton was never better than when he was challenged by Duane Allman on this disc.

5. The Beatles "Rubber Soul" Comment would be redundant.

6. Weddings Parties Anything "Trophy Night" The greatest group ever to come from Australia and virtually unknown outside that country.

7 Paul Kelly "Songs From The South" Australia's greatest singer/songwriter, only a cult favorite here.

8. Elvis Costello "This Years Model" Remember when he was mad, really MAD? And what a backing band!

9. Tom Robinson Band "Power in the Darkness" This came out in 1978, rock's first "out" gay artist. He should have been a contender but he never reached this level again.

10. The Velvet Underground "The Velvet Underground and Nico" Still ahead of it's time. Is Heroin the greatest song of all-time?

And how could I forget: Van the Man, David and David, Garland Jeffreys, Graham Parker, The Jam, Joe Ely, The Go-Betweens, Robert Zimmerman, Archie Leach.
