Hey Peter:I believe you posted the Minboit link before and I read it, and found
their motivations disturbing and antiChristian; as I do these so
called neo-christians motivations in the article I commented on.NTL, the scripture teaches, as with the return of Israelites to the
promised land(which occurred in 1948 after nearly 1900 years),
that the temple will be rebuilt. I don't know how or when it will
come about, though I am certain the time is near, but I believe it
will it will be rebuilt, precisely because the bible tells me so.-) Now
me, I'm more in the camp of providing provisions at Petra for my
Jewish brethren than trying to get the temple rebuilt. Not that my
opinion matters but I figure the AntiChrist and his supporters will
get that built since he wants to play God.Also Peter, we Christians are told the just shall live by faith. That
salvation is by faith. Too, where ones faith ends, so too ends the
revelation of the truth(s) of the scripture. It's a curious
relationship.I don't recall this, The Skepic's Annotated Bible, being offered
before but I'll prolly take a peek. I am a curious sort too.P> I truly mean no disrespect I truly mean no disrespect I truly mean no disrespectI believe you sir. As God told Isaiah, Come let us reason together...I look forward to those who are brave enough to engage in give
and take of ideas. Most merely attack my kind. My faith certainly
is not threatened, I know in whom I believe. I know where I am
going when I die. Do you know where you are going when you die?
That's something Jesus talks about in the Gospels.P> Jesus, as depicted in the Gospels, is awesome! Jesus, as depicted in the Gospels, is awesome! Jesus, as depicted in the Gospels, is awesome!I really wish you, or someone, would explain what they mean by
this kind of statement. First off, outside of the book of Revelation
which is hardly awesome for humanity at large and briefly in Acts,
Jesus only shows up in the Gospels. He was seldom lovey dovey
like folks make out. So, I would really appreciate your
fleshing out that statement a bit-what's so awesome about Jesus in
the Gospels in your view?I ask this because, when he returns, he's not going to be the Lamb
of God that taketh away the sins of the world. He's going to kill,
lots and lots of people, like avenging Kings do. And immediately
after that, he is going to judge the nations. And following that, he
is going to rule all the earth from Jerusalem with an iron rod for a
thousand years. At the end of which, he is going to cast that old
devil Satan into the Lake of Fire. And after his 1000 year reign,
he's going to be judging the great and the small at what is
commonly known as the Great White Throne judgement for all of
mankind that rejected his sacrificial gift for humanity. A gift that
hinges on what a man decides to believe. The greater portion of
these events are referenced or spoken of directly in the gospels by
Jesus himself.P> But, and this is a big but, the questioning side of me, the side
that believes in the scientific method, the side that goes with
evidence, has enormous doubts as to the veracity of the Bible. But, and this is a big but, the questioning side of me, the side

answer. Further, and you might find this hard to believe too, but
my faith is what drove me to search out most of what I know about
history and science. I wanted to see if the world jives with what his
revelation says. And since the scripture is primarily a history,
that's pretty easy to do. Archeology certainly supports the
scriptural record.P> How do you reconcile what I, and many other people see, as so
many errors in the Bible? How do you reconcile what I, and many other people see, as so
many errors in the Bible? How do you reconcile what I, and many other people see, as so
many errors in the Bible?Again, state the errors, and I'll attempt to speak to them. I don't claim to understand everything in the scripture sir, but I
attribute that more to the fact I'm not nearly as studious as I could,
or should have, been, including in prayer. However, that it is all
God's word, just as he wants it; I'd bet my life on that. I'd bet your
life on that too.May peace be with you all.
