This will take a while for me to follow, but meantime, thank you so much for your very detailed response and I have a few first off questions.

And more particularly, who would be the arbiter?

What does the arbiter do?

The following is what I was intrigued with at the onset.

Deuteronomy, chapter 23 "19": Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:  What determines who your brother is?

"20": Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it. Yikes

KHC wrote in the 2nd paragraph:

> Jesus talked almost constantly about power and wealth and how the righteous are to relate to the poor.

Nonsense. Though I would say the remainder of the paragraph has much merit, excepting: So, Jesus did not talk about this at all?

Self interest and compound interest are the way to salvation according to them. This relates only to the Jews?

They explain to their followers that if they are righteous, God will reward them with riches.

This get rich mock christianity isn't a new phenomena among the 'wolves in sheep's clothing' or the fakes that tranform themselves into 'angles of light'.  Is this type of christianity growing in numbers?

Thanks!
