It's stuff like this that smokes my salmon. Sometimes you just have to say screw the lawyers, I'm gonna do what's right. I'd like to think that if I had been in that intel officer's shoes I would have backdoored the info to the FBI.
At some point you got to quit pointing the finger at the political parties and do something about the problem. We are hiding who caused the problem and wondering why we never get anywhere on issues.

Whatever rules, regulations, laws, policies caused this I hope have been changed. The 9/11 commission is looking more and more like a joke. Not the fact that they didn't do good work but the fact that they didn't get all the information they needed. I'm a big believer in transparency. I say let's bring it all to light. Hope this gets a lot more attention in the press.
It should but more important is the Natalie Halloway story and Congress investigating baseball.

Also, I hate to nitpick, but Kennedy got us into Vietnam, Johnson escalated, Nixon campaigned to end the war but escalated even more in 69 and 70, and the last troops left in 75 under Ford. Saying Nixon (or Ford) got us out of Vietnam is like saying Reagan got us out of Lebanon.
