Even for Regular Unleaded it's already over $3 in many places around the northwest side of Chicago. Although this area seem to lead in raising fuel rates quickly, Lately I've heard that we are paying the most for gas in the nation (can't back that up, but I did hear it on news radio well before the storm).
$3 + is gonna hurt, and I don't see the oil companies "taking a hit" for the nation. I just don't think they are capable of such an act of fiscal, corporate compassion.
There's no good news/bad news jokes these days just bad news/bad news ones.
