I've been listening to Roberts today and he's doing a great job of not saying very much, and very eloquently at that..  With respect to his earlier papers which have been scrutinized in the media, his only point was that he was 25 then, that he's changed, the world has changed, he's in his 50's now, etc.  Perfect answer, except that it doesn't give one a clue.  Essentially, all he is saying about anything is that "he will be very careful."

To be honest, we all know that he's going to be confirmed assuming a bombshell doesn't emerge.  We are not talking about Bork here who was Nixon's hatchet man with respct to Cox.
