Gee, I don't know where to start. As to Dale, well, your article reminds me of Reagan's continual references to a mythical "welfare queen" who was forever living off the public dole. I'm sure those guys in the article represent the majority of Katrina victims (not)! But hey, human beings just love to generalize (that's a generalization I guess, but probably a truth) and dump on the easy targets. Remember, any, absolutely any public program is going to have jerks who abuse it, it's a friggin given!

And Pat's brilliant statement:  It is why you could give them $50,000 or $100,000 and they would still be on the street in 2 years, not all but the majority. They have no idea how to manage money and figure I'll spend this wad because I'll never see it again anyway.

Pat, have you seen the national debt lately? It's hovering around 8 trillion dollars! Those jokers' fiscal irresponsibility is but a drop of water when compared to the ocean of red ink spent by this administration. Get real! Get educated! Get some friggin perspective! Was your Texas public school education really THAT bad?
