You probably won't see this, Pat - but I hope you know that I admire your tenacity - it's crucial in a democracy (I know people who would say 'but not in a republic' - but they're all asses)  I'll bet we'd agree that we should, in the face of this year's tragedies, band together - here's the thing -

IMHO - how can there be a 'mainstream' anymore - if we're all gossip/news fish divided into stocks?

How can there be a path for all of us - if it's led by someone who many, if not most,  consider lost? 

How can anyone attain the necessary 'stature'...when we're bombarded in almost every way to just follow something  or someone - so we can all 'get along'.?

If the threat was so real (and color coded), Pat - there WOULD have been an attack - and hopefully it would have been stopped - to much applause - mine included - W could anoint his successor- (and I would willfully suffer any security intrusions, if warranted - (emphasis on that last word)) - because I love my boy just as much as you love yours - and beyond treason - it's inhumane to imply otherwise...it's manipulation in the form of spin that divides us....please don't bite that hook or 'cast' that line..how's that for a resolution?

Pure and Simple

This last year made me wish I had either one of those qualities in abundance...
