Is it just me or does John Mayer sound like David? I have to know if they are related, it has been driving me crazy ever since Moulin Rouge.

There voices are so close and their rythym and I'm wondering if this is his son? I miss the releases from David, they kept me going during hard emotional times way back when..lol

For the record John has not suffered near enough to be where he is at. I've always thought he was way overated. He has overstayed his 15 minutes
