Virtuosity is a viable notion. & it's always been easier to be a critic...then to learn to play guitar....

There is the difference between a craftsman and a artist. A lot of silversmiths that stretch the silver, but few create something true! Yes, one should watch what they say about one's musicianship or creativity. If you noticed, I did not utter a word on that matter. However, when one creates something (i.e.: a CD, a novel, a painting) and they put it out for the world to view, touch, read, hear, etc. they are subject to critique , be it negative or positive. Being a visual artist who has forever been influenced by popular music, I feel I'm more than worthy to state my opinion.. With my own artwork, I've been raked over the coals and put on a pedestal. Either way, I always try to stay true and honest in my art and never think what the critics, the masses, other artists, or the dollar will say.

Cheers, Kevin
