'tis true, no attacks on US soil since 9/11, but Osama was on the news today telling us he's whipping up a doozy. hope there's enough military personnel and eavesdroppers left in town to thwart it, eh? our at-the-time allies England and Spain went kaboom in a big way and Iraq is in the middle of an explosive and ugly civil war, but better there than here, eh? some may feel that they're not as important because they're not US citizens, but is that a wise attitude to take if we wish to maintain vital partnerships for this fight and all the others?

our treasury's been looted and social safety nets, environmental protections, and funding for FEMA, OSHA, MSHA, SEC enforcement, deadbeat dad pursuit etc etc etc gutted while bankruptcy laws and other financial pressures are tightened like a noose, even around the people who aren't lazy scofflaws.

so who really does more lasting damage, Arabic terrorists or American corporate pirates and their whores in Congress? depends on what you're scared of, i guess. a big dramatic explosive demise is so much more immediately scary than one by a thousand cuts, but either way, the result is the same for too many of our fellow Americans and their dreams of a better life.
