But consider the fact that the ACLU is not "liberal" organization, except to the extent that they represent ALL clients (be they representing causes that may be labeled "right" or "left"). So, they represent those against prayer in school, as well as the KKK to support their right to freely assemble.
I think you might be living in a bubble that the 99.99% of the people David to refer's as his peers. There is no doubt to the rational minded what slant the ACLU is a part of and it is most definitely liberal.
Don't forget: we're a nation of laws (incl. the Bill of Rights), not men. But go ahead - cite cases!
