Just read that Cowsill Family lead singer, Billy Cowsill, died Friday.Best known for "Hair", and inspiring The Partridge Family.Billy lived here in Vancouver for a long time and was in an incredible band "The Blue Shadows" which featured great musicianship with Beatle-esque harmonies.

Sadly,Billy's death came the day before the memorial for younger brother Barry Cowsill who died in New Orleans during hurricane Katrina.
