I read somewhere that once EVH completed his treatment for tongue cancer and was pronounced cured he lit up a cig. Poor Val had had enough and said she was not going to stay around and watch him kill himself. So she hit the road. I'm surprised their marrage lasted as long as it did.
She's with me now. We're very happy.
