Most local news in my area (Northern California) covered both opposition and support for Roe v. Wade and the legality of abortions. There were several indepth stories regarding Roe v. Wade and the legal participants.
Personally, I believe most Americans do not support indiscriminate abortions. I am ardently against abortion as a form of birth control and am a strong supporter of adoption, but as with most areas of our private lives, I am dead set against our government regulating what people can do with their bodies and private lives. I think if anti-abortion crusaders spent their money and time on outreach and support for those mothers considering abortion, they could do far more good than standing on a street corner with graphic images or harassing planned parenthood clinics.
