i don't have a link handy because i'm too much of a lazy America-hating liberal conspiracist to bother with Google, but i have read reports from WTC employees of how they basically shut down floors (approx) 50-80 or so a month before, for 'electronic & communications upgrades'. certainly, "structural renovations" could have been done at that time.
either way, the amount of credible reports on inconsistancies is pretty mind-boggling. http://www.unansweredquestions.org has a huge collection.
