Well the Geriatric (Rock) scene is officially here. ( Should we call it Gero Rock, or maybe just Gero?) . Funny, I remember seeing a newspaper clip at least 10 years ago, with a story about these elderly folks who had a popular rock band, I think it was in Arizona or California (they were all in their 70's for the mostpart), and I realized..like why not?  

Which reminds me, I think Dave Brubeck is still touring and he turned 80 fairly recently, and BB King is 80 also (or pretty close).   I keep checking with a friend of mine who tours with Cecil Taylor...and he says Cecil's health is fine (I think he is in his late 70's).
