As MJG indicated - depends on what you do with it. Any audiophile will tell you MP3's suck - but now so does SONY....cow's outta the barn...but having a wallpaper of 'Starry Night' isn't the same as owning it...likewise with audio, IMHO...a utilitarian example of this is driversguide - it's got a username - drivers and a password - all and it's saved my ass - when my AWEsome 64 bit card crapped out - I still had my 16 bit and though the drivers were nowhere to be found on Creative's 'legacy' (legacy? wtf - you guys) page - behold - love is a secret everyone knows.....oh God, I'm a dweeb...
