but damn you for stealing my thunder with The Fisher King!!! saw it again last year and it was even better than i remembered. directed by Gilliam [yes, it's his best], with Jeff Bridges, Robin Williams and Mercedes Beuhl turning in spot-on performances. loss, grief, insanity, hope, redemption, with humor and - no treacle. it is perfect. not to get anyone's expectations up too high, but Netflick it and watch. it's an absolute treat, a vast and satisfying journey.
