IF you can find it, esp the director's cut, find Wim Wenders' UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD which is in English, French, Japanese and stars, among others, William Hurt, Jeanne Moreau, Max Von Sydow, Sam Neill.
Music by Tom Waits, David Byrne U2, Elvis Costello, T-Bone Burnett, Patti Smith, etc. It took 14 years and $23 million for Wim Wenders to bring his vision to the screen, shooting in 15 different cities in seven different countries on four different continents. An amazing, amazing film with many theories as to why it slipped away, almost unnoticed, except by film buffs and critics.
