I don't know of a single soul on this planet that doesn't recognize that the US plus the limeys and canucks will turn the Republican Guard into the WWII French Army revisited - but what then? And as far as savings on oil prices, dream on. The prices are going to skyrocket once the Saddam sets all of his refineries ablaze, and the oil companies will sit back and laugh and raise prices and laugh and raise prices and laugh. And then write more checks to the GOP.

Forcing a peaceful ouster of the Madman and removing the embargo on Iraq will do far more to minimize the amount you are going to spend on fossil fuels then will any sort of war.
