I was on a road trip to LA this past weekend and was looking for that title to read, but before I could find it, another book caught my eye. World War Z:An Oral History of the Zombie War.
I've long had a fascination with Zombies (thank you George Romero) and the fiction on the subject tends to be alot of the same. This one however, is among the best I've read. Its less about the zombies doing their thing and mostly about the human reaction to it. Multiple points of view from all walks of life relate their experiences, before during and after the rising. POV information from South Korea, in relation to North Korea (one day the North's DMZ guards went inside and no replacement ever came out, in fact no movement was ever seen again in the North by the South) from Cuba and China, have stood out so far.
The author is Max Brooks (Mel's son)
Up after that is The Road.
