Just turned the last page... This book has been getting a lot of great
reviews and deservedly so. McCarthy's post-apocalyptic parable is
relentlessly bleak, occasionally stunningly horrifying, and somehow
incredibly tender and hopeful. I was- and am- completely in awe of
his writing. It is one of his best and that's saying a lot, considering
"Sutree" and "Blood Meridian".I guess you can take this as a recommendadtion if you like....
