traffic cops are just uncanny diligent (perhaps kinda lonely) people … with sticks & guns & a higher recourse to the law & fallibility & occasional rage & the ability to tailgate for fun & profit sometimes …& a certain personality trait that leans towards mmm I don’t know a kind of power trip mentality of sorts, apropos to the job… … so stop …hands on the steering wheel …smile …don’t sweat …be cool …be polite, they will be, & more than some of them are the good guys …& revenues are sooo important to the local legislators, …no, not the schools ya silly libs …not to worry that you are pulled over on a two lane road and all this traffic having to merge around you is so much more of a danger to the public at large than you were at 45 in a rural 35 speed trap, just be cool…as you are being protected...& served. 

Just joshin’.  Accept for the them & us mentality, which I believe is contrary to their primary mission, our local cops [IMHO] are on the upper spectrum of the official due diligence curve; not a bad bunch o gents…who wave as they pass

& say ‘ello.  Got to be a tough gig most of the time.

…so, yep, don’t RUN!!  like the following few dummies…hehe…
