DADEAD is one of my favs, but that E is a tad "boingy" since it's
tuned
down. You can get away with some of the DADGAD fingerings
(while
in DADEAD),though and it works fine...just "respec" that E string.
For
a Grreeat Blues sound though, try EADEAD. Wrote a couple of
songs/
pieces with that one.
A friend of mine Pat Kirtley is a great open tuning finger
stylist. Do
seek his stuff out; he does lots in DADEAD. Think he's got a
website
somewhere. And...he's from Bourbon County Kentucky. (and that
