Have felt strongly for 20 years that the character "handsome Kevin" described in "Boomtown" may have had something to do with me... -The description matched my state at the time, and although I have never dealt dope in my life, I may have been under the influence of some mind-altering substance at the time... Hollywood, CA., 1985: -I had just dropped out of UCLA, and I replied to an ad for lead singer for a band. -a car was sent to pick me up at the Denny's on Sunset Blvd., -may have been a taxi, -can't recall, but I was taken to an industrial section of Pasadena or Glendale or somewhere in the vicinity to a large studio loft, where I was asked to sing a song called "Digging my way to China"... I do recall that I did not sing the song well, -not a good night for me... I know nothing about David & David, other than the "boomtown" hit... -Cannot recall the name of the outfit that was auditioning me... -Would like to put this question to rest in my mind. -I saw a couple of posts that read: "handsome Kevin revealed..." from earlier, and want to know who is the real "handsome Kevin". ---------------------------=DennysKev
