Hmmm. But I thought the Tascam 144 (USB Audio/MIDI Interface) would BE the interface here? I plug the mic into it, and run USB to the computer, and that should, in theory, do the job, right?I miss the days when I could make whatever shitty little recording I wanted, simply by pressing a button & rolling tape. I got pretty good at ping-ponging on my old Fostex 4-track. Lots of fun, that.A lot of people tell me their MAC's make this stuff pretty easy.Thanks for posting.Herring405
