I just started watching it via HBO OnDemand, the first episode didn't rock my world but I'll give it a few more trys.

One of my favorite departed space shows was Firefly. Of course the idgits at Fox cancelled it after 9 episodes. Great mindless space western with just the right smidgeon of humor thrown in. That's the only TV series I have sprung for on DVD. Sonny Rhodes did the theme song which didn't carry over to the film version called "Serenity". ( which is the name of their bucket of bolts they fly around in. )
