Do yourself a favor and give The Office a chance. Yes its Americanized, but I don't find it to be dumbed down at all. Casting is nearly perfect, and it specializes in cringe worthy comedic situations that are just not seen enough on American TV.
I am a huge fan of the original, but they really did this translation right.
