I've been wathcing everyone dance around this for the last week, and they keep focusing on tangental issues. To me it boils down to two things:
- Does the media in general have to appeal to our base instincts to make a profit?
- Why do we allow them to?
I used to be of the Change the station/turn it off school of thought, but our media choices keep shrinking, folks.
