this letter to the editor today may be a bit too PC for some among us, but i was appalled by of all people noted xenophobe Pat Buchanan usurping the historically gravid term 'lynch' to support his feeble defense of his idiot friend. blech.

Editor -- Patrick Buchanan's column, "The Imus lynch party," is the epitome of bigotry, starting with the headline. While at first disgusted, upon reflection I'm glad you shined such a bright light on his twisted reasoning and deep-seated prejudice for all to read. I can only image how I'd be feeling if I was black. It makes me want to apologize to everyone who has to endure this level of ignorance and insensitivity. No wonder the racial wars continue.
