No, thankfully we were able to stay above water...just barely...but as I was sitting there the folks on the side of the HH that were heading toward the city looked to be in grave danger. I started seeing police and emergency vehicles coming from all directions and I knew it was bad news. I kinda thought people were ending up in the river. They actually directed us over a median to get off the road. I had passed through one section of the HH that appeared to be a dirt road due to the mud coming off of the hill. It was a mess. I had been staying on East Broadway and headed to the West Side to leave because I already knew there were issues on FDR and Riverside and they were closing roads. A lot of water came down real fast.
