Sorry, you are correct and I didn't mean to accuse you of saying that. I was referring to the fact that the Republicans drew that up as a talking point and have been using it in the media to give the impression that she would not listen to him. I think the main point is she would not have changed her mind if she had 100 briefings from him.

Well, I actually think any of our politicians taking the time to travel, talk to, and most importantly listen to other prominent figures on the world stage is a good thing. I'm just a big believer in the idea that you can't get the full scoop sitting on your ass in DC. I thought it was shameful that she got slammed for making such an effort.
I guess the main point here that we are walking around is what could change Pelosi's mind on removing our troops from Iraq and I sure don't have an answer for that.

Well, I actually think any of our politicians taking the time to travel, talk to, and most importantly listen to other prominent figures on the world stage is a good thing.
