Sadly…mournfully…as a citizen, husband, father, & an honorably discharged service veteran [during a relatively peaceful time], my answer to that question is this:
Q: What reasons would you give for our troops to remain there?
A: The odds and ends of some 400 billion in chump-change divided-up nicely between associates. Roughly.
& even if I’m wrong, it’s a sorrow that this is the sort of American leadership its people can imagine.
