I gotta say Bushco has destroyed the Republicans and we now have a whole boat load of people who have no clue what being a conservative is. I have to say this is funny to watch. Everybody knows Rudy has been the leading candidate for the Republicans but anybody with half a brain could see he was doomed from the start. He's got a load of ugly stuff in his closet and he's never cared about bending over for "Christian Conservatives", who basically are the Al Sharptons and Jesse Jacksons of the right wing. Now a guy like Pat Brown claimed Rudy as his candidate and I knew right away that would not last. Rudy is practically a Democrat on the social side of things and so how Pat came down as a Rudy supporter was beyond me. If Pat still posts here it'll be funny to see him soon cheering for Fred Thompson or even shifting to Brownback or Tancredo. Rudy is getting eaten alive right now by the "Christian Wingnuts" prompting one nutty blog to say:

Hell, I laughed! It's been funny to watch how much the right wingers hate their leading candidates, which is why the "Draft Fred Thompson" movement is so big. Here's a bit about Rudy facing off with that nutcase Laura Ingraham (one of the biggest idiots on talk radio):

Ingraham pressed Giuliani, asking him whether stories about the birth of a 22-week-old baby affected him. Giuliani said they did, calling the debate about abortion "a deeply personal" issue. He stressed that Americans understand the difference between personal beliefs and public policy.
"So why people think this is such a contradiction, I don't get. I think it's entirely consistent," he said.

Rudy, pal, what you don't get is how to kiss ass and lie to get elected! You need to follow in the footsteps of your buddy Mitt Romney, just tell people whatever the hell they want to hear! Dubya lied and smeared his way into office and he and his people have found something new to lie about on every day he has held office. They basically have set the bar really high for Republican candidates for president...you gotta be a world class olympic liar to be a suitable candidate.
