Not too sound overly snarky, but when is the last time they ran a credible candidate? 96? 88? 80? 68?Actually, I thought McCain was reasonably credible, and electable, in 2000, til the dirty tricks squad started cooking up illegitimate offspring for him. But I'm smitten with Republicans who think for themselves and aren't in the hip pocket of the Southern Baptists, Moral Majority, or Christian Coalition.
