Yeah...I like the Eagles. I liked some of Henley's solo stuff. I always thought Dirty Laundry was a great tune:
A lot of people hate the Eagles and I found when I lived in California the people I met that were in the music business or claimed to know Henley thought he was an asshole. I don't really know why. I've met him and he seemed to be a great guy. He loves Thoreau so can he really be all that bad?I guess some people think because the Eagles music got popular it must be shit but their output in the 70's was great...at least that's what I thought. I will say this though, my brother played me a bunch of songs last Thanksgiving that he said are meant for a new Eagles album and man, they were awful. Not sure what they were thinking with that stuff but that single they did "Hole in the World" or something...that was bad too.
