Aw, Ed you take yourself too seriously. I loved bits of the Sex Pistols, but Poco had their moments,
many of 'em, and I don't equate them with the Eagles or any "declining arc". I never liked the Eagles
as much, but Poco to my ears were a little truer to Bluegrass and Country, and Eagles crossed over
more. If you hate that genre of music, OK, but I could recommend Good Feeling to Know and Crazy
Eyes as 2 of the best Poco releases. Heart of the Night was on an amazing album from 1978 called
Legend.
Paul Cotton, (the "older" gentleman in the video) is a fabulous songwriter and still going strong. For
all folks who are sailing/beach types, pick up his new CD....it's wonderful.
