My vote? Not too funny. Though I did get a chuckle out of Jonah Goldberg's dig at Madonna, which is kind of amazing, cause I really find him disgusting for the most part. Me, I admit to being sort of ambivalent about Live Earth, because on one hand, these events can have a kind of ripple effect on individuals which can be a motivator for real change, while on the other, given the energy consumption that's typical of a big rock event it's sort of like promoting fuel efficiency by having a big auto race. On the other other hand, a good, dear friend of mine got a major hit of exactly the right kind of exposure at the London event, so I'm personally happy on those grounds. But the jokes? Not too funny, at least not to me.
